MARC JOHANN
I was born in 1968 in Heidelberg.
At an early age I discovered that there are many excellent artists as well as many potential art buyers, but artists experience often a lack of marketing opportunities while those interested in art experience a lack of suitable offers. That is why I founded in 1986 my Art Home Service in the former West Berlin, from where I started to especially equip large companies, offices, law firms and medical practices nationwide with the originals of my artists.
The opening of the inner German border created a new field for me, and so along with my care for existing customers in Bavaria, Baden-Wuerttemberg and Rhineland-Palatinate, my new focus in the artistic decoration where my numerous new customers in Thuringia and Saxony.
In the first twenty years of my professional activities already several thousand original paintings have found happy owners and audience.
To present my artist's works to an even wider audience, I opened in 2007 the Zeitgeist Gallery in downtown Nuremberg, so that my customers can always enjoy the latest highlights of my entire collection on three floors.
I am often asked how I choose my artwork:
In a painting, I see primarily aesthetics and beauty, individuality and originality.
Craftsmanship I regard as quite important, but a work of art really excites me, if it has something that is absolutely original to the artist - whether in the material used, the sujet or a by unique painting technique. In addition to developing an individual style, an artist stands out in my eyes, when he continues to develop his style, so that each painting is always new and created by art with a personal touch, without a halt, with constant questioning of one's own creativity and perpetual quest for perfection.

EVA SEILER
I was born in 1984 in Erlangen.
Already in high school my interest in painting art was awakened. I was always fascinated by the theory - the question of how, when and why a work of art is created - even if there is not always a sure answer. So I started my study of art history at the Friedrich-Alexander University of Erlangen / Nuremberg, which I successfully completed in summer 2010. Early on, I found my interest turning toward modern and contemporary art, starting from Edouard Manet over Salvador Dali to Andy Warhol.
I like art that I find beautiful and interesting, wether it is lightly, cheerfully or bizarre. A work of art is complete to me, when I can look at it with interest and joy again and again, and a contemporary artist I call an expert if he is characterized by an inimitable and distinctive style.
The Zeitgeist Gallery's collection has fascinated me already for quite some time.
For this reason, I started my activity in the Zeitgeist Gallery right after my studies, to energetically support the marketing of the individual and contemporary art offered here, by my work.
