Alina Ivanova´s artworks take us into a colourful dream world being composed of many shades,
nuances and messages full of emotional and sensual contents.
Subtle poetry and excellent craftsmanship unify into a visual language
containing imaginative experimentiveness and factual clarity at the same time.
All of Alina´s artworks fascinate by their extraordinary complexity and diversity
and consistently surprise the art connoisseurs with the fact that often only after long observation
more and more representational metaphors and manifestations of the unconscious
reveal themselves out of a scene which is superficially appearing as confused.
“Each of my paintings tells a story. I am not a writer and do not play with words but with colours, shapes and images.
The viewer should look into another world like through a door gap and enjoy it.
When painting I always remain open to anything. The image takes my hand and tells me how to go on.
I paint spontaneously and initially do not know how the artwork will look like at the end – the result comes by itself.
In doing so I rely on my inspiration and play with my inner images, with my imagination, with the non-tangible
being revealed from my self within.
When painting, I am always happy. Therefore I solely create works which I perceive as nice and positive.”
