When Slava commenced his studies of architecture at the age of 21, he quickly began designing new buildings which were even built during the time of his academic training.

Meanwhile he continued to paint and created installation art for parks, schools and numerous company facilities.

The end of communism, which results in an economic boom in the Ukraine and leads to Slavas planning of many buildings, was followed by a time of recession after only a couple of years. This was the impulse for him to go to Prague where he focussed on his real passion – painting.

After his artistic restart as a street artist in Prague which led to quick success with his many city views, Slava remained dissatisfied with himself and his art. He wanted to realize himself with his art in a more individual way and so he met with other artists in many of Pragues Cafés night after night to talk about art, life and experiences.

After years of hard work and intense observations his current works came to life. They have a very characteristic and fine sense of humor and reflect his infinite imagination and his latitudinarian persona.

His paintings tell the stories of life and people, they emerge from intuition, improvisation and a multi layered and unique manner of painting.

His close connection to his own art is visible in his works. It´s unbelievable but true: each and every painting is personally being embraced and kissed by the artist as an expression of gratitude for the inspiration to create it!
